Stretch 1,000 meters along the bank of Yi River near Luoyang of Henan, over 100,000 images, Buddhist pagodas and other sculptures were carved on the cliff of these caves. It recorded Chinese grotto arts in the golden age. Work started at 500 AD and continued for 400 years. These national treasuries reflected the skills and spiritual development of Chinese nation in the past.
